> Connect coaxial cable or phone cable from wall jack to back of the modem, in case your wireless router has inbuilt modem, connect directly to your wireless router and in that case you don’t need modem. Wireless Router is a device that broadcast internet connection via radio waves up to certain rang. Buy any 802.11g Router.
> Securely insert one Ethernet cable from your modem into the Internet port of the wireless.
> Securely insert Ethernet cable that came with your wireless router into a LAN port on the router such as LAN port 1 and the other end into the Ethernet port of your computer. (Ignore this if you going to use mobile device like laptop or ipad)
> Now let’s create Wireless Router Software to broadcast internet, Software inside router known as firmware, each router comes with different firmware, following steps could varies by router.
> After proper connection, Switch on all devices.
> Open browser in your laptop, hit http://192.168.1.1
> Create WiFi Login, Type User Name: Admin , Password: Password (This could vary by Router)
> You will see “Setup Wizard” with two options “Smart Wizard Setup” and “Manual Setup”
> Select “Yes” for the Smart and faster setup.
Later you can change your SSID and password to secure your WiFi from “Setup” > “Wireless Settings”
SSID stands for Service Set Identifier; it is a unique name for your wireless internet connection.

What is Wireless Access Point or HOTSPOT
Wireless Access Point or HOTSPOT is nothing but a Wireless Router that broadcast wireless connection up to certain range.
WiFi Hotspot can be setup in two ways: Public Network and Closed Network.
Public Network is quite open, there is no cap on bandwidth, speed and quota. While in closed network you can cap the bandwidth, speed and quota.

> Test installation, Connect to your hotspot wirelessly. After you have connected, try to visit a website. You should be redirected to your Hotspot Start Page.
You can advertise your business with your own splash page and logo.
Be careful about placements of devices. Place your modem and wireless router in little open area, where no object can affect internet signal strength.
